DU UG Admission 2022: Delhi University 3rd merit list on November 13; revised schedule out

According to the official DU press release, the third CSAS admissions round will include all supernumerary quotas such as ECA, sports, CW, KM and regular admissions.

The last date for DU online admission fee payment is 4:50 PM on November 17, 2022.

After the declaration of the spot round vacant seats on November 20, 2022, admissions of already admitted candidates will be locked and will not be considered for any future upgrades (except supernumerary upgrades).

These candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admission after the announcement of the spot round.

DU will open an 'upgrade' window for subsequent rounds for the supernumerary categories including ECA, sports, CW and KM. Christian candidates for St Stephens College and Jesus and Mary College from 10 AM on November 18 upto 4:59 PM of November 19, 2022. 

Such candidates will only be considered for an upgrade in the supernumerary quota.

After the release of DU third merit list, candidates are required to accept their allocated seats form 10 AM on November 14 till 4:50 PM on November 15, 2022.

Candidate who fails to accept the provisionally allocated seat in DU merit list within the stipulated timeline will have the allocated seat canceled and will not be allowed to appear in the further round of seat allocation.

After the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 was marred by technical glitches resulting in cancellation and postponement of exams, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has formed two expert committees to avoid the same mistakes in future, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar, said, as per the Hindustan Times report.

DU has launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), for DU UG admission. Through the Delhi University CSAS portal candidates can log in and check the simulated rank, seat allotment, admission status and all other details related to DU admission 2022. Delhi University is offering admission to UG courses through CUET. The marks obtained in the CUET UG are being considered for DU admissions.

IGNOU has extended the last date to submit the IGNOU December TEE 2022 exam form till November 15.  Earlier, the registration deadline for fresh admission was also extended for UG and PG programmes till November 11.

Yes, the DU first cut off 2022 was released on October 19, and the admissions against the DU 1st cut off were closed on October 25.

After the seat is approved by the college, candidates will have to pay the DU admission fee to lock their seats till November 15. The DU admission fee can be paid in online mode using net banking, debit card, credit card, etc.

As soon as the candidate has checked their result, they have to click the 'Accept allocation' tab. After receiving approval from the college principal, the candidate must pay the fees to confirm their admission.
