DU UG Admission 2023: Delhi University announces spot round schedule; registration begins tomorrow

NEW DELHI : The University of Delhi has announced the schedule for spot round of undergraduate admissions through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023. Accordingly, the registration for DU UG admission 2023 spot round will begin from tomorrow, August 29 on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal at admission.uod.ac.in.

The university will release the vacant seats after the three rounds of Delhi University admissions 2023 and students who have not been allotted any seat in DU colleges will be able to by August 30. The seat allocation result will be declared on September 1.

“On the announcement of the spot admission round-1, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions,” DU said in an official notice.

DU informed that while candidates can choose as many colleges and courses during the spot round admission, there is no option to withdraw or upgrade and the allocated seats will be final. Only candidates who applied to the supernumerary quota seats can opt for upgradation.

“It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in the spot admission round-1. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will forfeit the candidate’s eligibility for admission to UoD,” the university added.
