NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has announced the final special spot round dates for admission to certain shortlisted programmes for the academic session 2023-24. As per the schedule, registration has begun at 7 pm. Eligible candidates can apply for DU UG final special spot round 2023 on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
The last date to register for this round is tomorrow, September 26 . The university will also publish the vacant seats for the final round today.
“Only those programmes in respective colleges wherein the number of vacant seats is more that 10% of the sanctioned strength of the programme will be shortlisted for admissions in Final Special Spot Round,” DU said in an official notice.
Candidates who had registered for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023 and have not been allotted seats in the previous rounds are eligible to participate in DU final special spot round. Students will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions in this round.
DU informed that, in this round, the allocation will be done on the basis of availability of seats, programme-specific merit, order of preference of college (programme + college), and category.
“It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a Final Special Spot Round. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the Final Special Spot Admission round will forfeit the candidate's eligibility for admission to UoD,” DU further said.
