ECIL GEA, TA Recruitment 2023 registration starts today at ecil.co.in; eligibility criteria, selection process

NEW DELHI: The Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has started the registration for ECIL Graduate Engineering Apprentice (GEA) and Diploma/Technician Apprentice (TA) recruitment 2023 on the official website, ecil.co.in. The ECIL GEA and TE recruitment registration process will end on December 15.

The ECIL is conducting the recruitment process for 250 vacancies of GEA and 113 vacancies of technician apprentice. The tenure of the Apprenticeship will be one year. Students selected for the GEA and TA will be given a stipend of Rs 9,000 and Rs 8,000 stipend, respectively.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for the GEA vacancies should have passed a four-year Bachelor of Engineering or Technology on or after April 1, 2021, from AICTE-approved colleges or recognised Indian universities. In the case of Diploma Apprentices, the candidates should have cleared a 3-year diploma in the above-mentioned branches on or after April 1,2021.

The candidates applying for the posts should have a degree or diploma in electronics and communication, computer science, mechanical, electrical and electronics, civil, and electronics and instrumentation programmes.

Applicants should not be above 25 years on December 31. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, the upper age limit has been relaxed by 5 years while relaxation of 3 years and 10 years in the upper age limit will be given to students from OBC-non creamy layer and PWD categories, respectively.

Selection procedure

The ECIL will call the selected candidates for original documents verification at CLDC-ECIL Hyderabad. After successful document verification, selections will be done based on the qualifying examination marks merit.
