ESIC Result 2019 Announced for UDC and Stenographer; 20545 Candidates Qualified

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 8: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation of India (ESIC) has announced the prelims result of ESIC 2019 for the post of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Stenographer on August 8, 2019. A total of 20545 candidates have qualified in the test wherein 19693 candidates have qualified for UDC while 852 candidate have qualified for the post of Stenographer.
The result has been announced in the form of PDF. To check the result, candidates can visit on the official website of ESIC - esic.nic.in and click on the result link. The result PDF contains the region, roll number, registration number, name of the qualified candidates and category.
Along with the result, the authority has also announced the scorecard and the cut off of the test in the form of PDF. As per the PDF released, the highest cut off has been registered for the Delhi RO region - 169.5 for UDC while for Stenographer, the highest cut off is for Delhi Hqrs - 148. The lowest cut off has been registered for Chhattisgarh - 141 for UDC while for Stenographer, the lowest cut off was for Madhya Pradesh - 96.5.
The overall cut off for both UDC and Stenographer is 90 out of 200 marks for the general and EWS category. For SC and ST, the cut off is 70 marks, while for OBC and PWD, the cut off is 80 and 60 respectively. For Ex-servicemen, the cut off marks for both UDC and Stenographers is 70.
All those candidates who have qualified in the prelims exam will now have to appear for the mains exam which is scheduled to be held on September 1, 2019. ESIC 2019 prelims exam for UDC and Stenographer was conducted on July 14, 2019.
