Five start-ups from BIMTECH AIC raise Rs 2 crore in funding from MeitY

NEW DELHI: The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) has secured Rs 2 crore fund from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). BIMTECH aims to foster start-up growth under the SAMRIDH programme, offered by MeitY. The five startups that have secured funding from MeitY are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, and Vacus.

According to the AIC BIMTECH official statement, the achievement underscores the programmes pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, contributing to a valuation of Rs 75 crores, and driving economic growth towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

AIC BIMTECH has successfully supported around 400 startups and established more than 200 partnerships. The institute has also empowered these startups to accelerate their growth by providing mentorship, team-building support, strategic business networking, and investor relations, and helping them secure the resources essential for scaling.

AIC BIMTECH supported startups

The eight start-ups supported by AIC BIMTECH are Cunomial, Credit Siddhi, Origin Connect, Transport Simple, Vacus, Fabrik, Detrocel, and Ecotio.

According to the BIMTECH statement, these start-ups are making progress in their respective fields, fostering innovation, creating job opportunities, generating revenue, and making an impact on India’s economy.

Inspired by its founders Late Basant Kumar Birla and Sarala Birla, BIMTECH also offers programmes like PGDM, PGDM-International Business (IB), PGDM-Retail Management (RM), and PGDM-Insurance Business Management (IBM), nurturing individuals into global leaders.
