NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will issue the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2023 admit card today on the official website, nbe.edu.in. As per the schedule, the FMGE December 2023 exam will be conducted on January 20.

Registered foreign medical graduates can download their FMGE admit card from nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in by entering their login ID and password. Candidates will have to carry their FMGE admit card with a passport-size photograph attached to it along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the screening test for medical graduates belonging to the Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) category for obtaining a provisional or permanent registration certificate from the Medical Council of India and the State Medical Council (SMC).

Possession or use of mobile phones or electronic devices is strictly prohibited inside the NBEMS FMGE exam centres. After the declaration of the FMGE 2023 exam results, the NBE will issue the FMGE 2023 pass certificate to qualified candidates.

In case of discrepancy in the hall ticket, candidates will have to contact the NBE helpline number +91-7996165333 to rectify the error. The candidates can also mail at helpdesknbeexam@natboard.edu.in.

The National Exit Test (NExT), a medical licentiate exam, was proposed by the National Medical Commission to replace both FMGE and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG). However, after students opposed the move, the NExT exam has been postponed till further orders, as per the instruction of the health ministry.
