The panels will include experts from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), central universities, and officials having experience of conducting exams.
Kumar reportedly said that the first committee will prepare the schedule so as to ensure that exam dates do not clash with each other and students get to know dates of their exams in advance. He added that the aim is to conduct CUET twice from next year. A decision will be taken on this once the exam schedule is prepared.
A senior NTA official reportedly said that no decision has been taken yet on changing the exam pattern or editing the number of questions. The decision will be taken after a discussion with stakeholders, said the official.

The debut edition of CUET UG 2022 was marred by technical glitches, last-minute change of exam centres, long commute, and lengthy question papers. Several students missed their tests due to which NTA had to reschedule their exams on other dates. Exams were cancelled and postponed to accommodate choice of centre while admit cards mentioned already passed dates.
M Jagadesh Kumar had in March announced that the undergraduate admissions will be conducted in all central universities through a common entrance test and not on the basis of class 12 marks.
