GAT-B, BET 2024 provisional answer key out; challenge by April 28

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the provisional answer key for the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2024 today, April 26. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the GAT-B, BET 2024 provisional answer through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DBT.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to log in and download the GAT-B, BET 2024 provisional answer key. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee.

Candidates should raise objections against the GAT-B, BET 2024 provisional answer key by April 28 through the official website. Candidate challenges will undergo verification by a panel of subject experts. If deemed valid, the answer key will be adjusted accordingly. Following the revision of the GAT-B, BET 2024 final answer key, the results will be prepared and announced.

The GAT-B 2024 and BET 2024 examinations were held on April 20. These exams are conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes in biotechnology and related fields in institutions supported by the department of biotechnology. They also determine the eligibility of candidates for the DBT Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) to pursue research in cutting-edge biotechnology areas.

GAT-B, BET 2024 Answer Key: How to challenge

Candidates can follow the steps given below to challenge the GAT-B, BET 2024 provisional answer key.

• Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DBT.

• Log in with your application number and date of birth, enter the security pin and submit.

• Click ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’

• You will see the Question IDs in sequential order for GAT-B /BET 2024.

• If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.

• You may upload supporting documents in the field ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents are to be put in a single pdf/jpg file).

• After clicking the desired option, for Part A, Part B for GAT-B, BET, click on ‘Challenge Question’ and move to the next screen.

• You will see a display of all the option IDs you have challenged and if any changes are required, the candidate can click on edit and add challenge questions.

• Click on ‘save your claim and pay fee finally’.
