GATE 2021 exam starts for day 4; Check details

NEW DELHI: IIT Bombay has commenced the Shift 1 of February 14 GATE 2021 exam. In the forenoon shift, the GATE 2021 exam will be held for two subject papers- Mechanical Engineering and Humanities & Social Sciences. While the GATE ME 2 and Metallurgical Engineering exam will be held in the afternoon shift.

GATE 2021 February 14 shift 1 exam will commence at 9.30 am and conclude at 12.30 pm. GATE exam for the second shift shall take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.

GATE 2021- Important Instructions

Candidates can check the GATE 2021 exam day guidelines issued by the examination authorities.

• Candidates should reach their GATE exam centres 2021 before the reporting time.

• Candidates should follow all the COVID-19 related instructions provided by the authorities.

• COVID-19 positive candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

• Those with temperatures above 99.4 degree Fahrenheit will be taken to isolated areas for exam.

GATE 2021- Things to carry to the exam centre

Candidates are required to carry the following items to the GATE 2021 exam centres-

• GATE 2021 admit card

• Valid Photo ID proof (PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, College ID, Employee ID, Driving License, etc.)

• Pen/Pencil

• Transparent water bottle

• Transparent pocket-size hand sanitizer.

After the exam concludes today, various coaching institutes will be releasing the GATE answer key 2021. Based on candidate reactions after the exam, difficulty level and expected cutoff will be released.
