NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, is all set to conduct the GATE 2021 exam on February 6, 7, 13 and 14. The first shift of the GATE 2021 exam will be conducted tomorrow i.e February 6 from 9:30 AM. GATE is one of the most important entrance exams for candidates who wish to pursue post-graduation in engineering.

IIT Bombay released the GATE admit card 2021 on January 8 at gate.iitb.ac.in. The admit of GATE 2021 is a mandatory document without which a candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam. A printed copy of the GATE admit card 2021 must be presented for verification at the exam centre.
Along with the GATE 2021 admit card, candidates are required to carry the following things at the examination centre:
Original valid photo identification proof.
(Note in case of poor quality of photo id proof or electronic id, candidates must carry an additional recent valid photo id also such as passport, pan card, voter id, driving license, and Aadhaar card)
Transparent water bottle
Pen and pencil
Pocket-size hand sanitizer
Face mask
At the time of examination, in case of restriction of movement in certain areas, candidates can use the GATE 2021 admit card as a pass for the movement.
Candidates should not carry charts/ tables/ papers/ books/ sheets at the examination centre.
GATE admit card will be considered valid only if both the photograph and signature is clear. Therefore, print the admit card on A4 sized paper using a laser printer.
Before the entry at the GATE 2021 exam centre, the officials will access the health condition of the candidate.
Recently. IIT Bombay has issued a GATE 2021 support letter for candidates who have their GATE exam on February 6. The support letter has been issued keeping in view the hardship students might face due to Bharat Bandh called by various farmers' unions on February 6.
Earlier, the authorities also released the GATE 2021 exam day instructions and the process to be followed by the candidates at the exam centres.
