Check NowNEW DELHI : Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has extended the last date to fill GATE 2021 application form without late fee till October 7. Earlier, the GATE 2021 registration last date without late fee was September 30. The last date to fill the GATE application form with late fee has also been extended from October 7 to 12. Candidates planning to appear in the GATE 2021 exam can fill and submit the application form at gate.iitb.ac.in.

Steps to fill GATE Application Form 2021

Registration - Firstly, candidates will have to get themselves registered by submitting some basic details such as name, email id, mobile number, and password. Upon successful submission of details, one time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. Use the OTP to complete the GATE registration 2021. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.

Filling the application form - In the next step, candidates will have to enter personal details, academic details, communication details, and other information asked in the application form of GATE 2021. Uploading of photo, signature and other documents also have to be done as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

Payment of GATE 2021 application fee - Once all the details are entered and documents are uploaded, candidates will have to make the payment of the GATE application fee in online mode.

Submission of application form - Lastly, after the successful payment of fee, submit the GATE 2021 application form.
IIT Bombay will be conducting the GATE 2021 exam from February 5 to 7 and 12 to 14. Note that only those candidates who will submit the GATE 2021 application form before the last date will be eligible to appear in the entrance exam. GATE is conducted for admission into M.E./M.Tech/PhD at the IITs, NITS, IIITs and CFTIs and also for recruitment in PSUs.
