NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will start the GATE 2021 registration process from September 12. The GATE 2021 application form will be made available at appsgate.iitb.ac.in. Candidates will be able to submit the GATE application form 2021 through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal. Candidates planning to appear in the examination must submit the form before GATE 2021 registration last date which is September 30.

Steps to fill GATE 2021 Registration

  • Visit the GOAPS portal

  • Complete registration process

  • Fill GATE form 2021

  • Upload scanned images of requisite documents

  • Pay GATE 2021 registration fee

  • Preview of filled application form of GATE 2021

  • Submit the GATE registration 2021

Documents/Details required while doing the GATE 2021 Registration
GATE 2021 registration process includes many steps such as uploading of photograph, signature, certificate of qualifying degree, category certificate (SC/ST/PwD) and/or Dyslexic certificate (if applicable) and payment of application fee. In order to fill and complete the GATE registration 2021 hassle-free, candidates are advised to keep all the documents and things ready before filling the application form.

  • Personal information like the candidate’s name, date of birth, mobile number, parents' name, parents' mobile number, etc.

  • Communication address (including PIN code)

  • Eligibility degree details

  • College name and address (with PIN code)

  • GATE paper (subject)

  • Scanned image of candidate's photograph and signature as per the prescribed format and size

  • Scanned copy of the eligibility certificate in pdf format (Degree or Provisional certificate or certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute (in the format specified)

  • Scanned copy of Category (SC/ST), PwD or Dyslexic certificate (if applicable) in pdf format

  • Declaration for candidates of Jammu and Kashmir (candidates who are unable to obtain documents due to restrictions in the region).

  • Details of the valid identity document(the same ID, in original, should be carried to the examination hall)

  • Net-banking/debit card/credit card/UPI details for fee payment
