GATE 2022: Last date for application form rectification today

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will close the correction facility for the GATE 2022 exam today. Applicants can make corrections by paying an extra fee. The GATE 2022 correction was open on November 1 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

The last date for change of paper, category, exam, city was November 15, 2021. IIT Kharagpur also mentioned that 3 exam cities, Panipat, Sonepat and Idukki, were removed and students were able to change the city of choice till November 15, 2021 without paying any additional fee. The GATE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted in online mode on February 5, 6, 12, and 13.

Steps to make rectifications in the GATE application form 2022 -

Step 1 - Visit the official website of GATE 2022, gate.iitkgp.ac.in

Step 2 - To access the GATE 2022 application form for correction, login to the GOAPS account.

Step 3 - Candidates who have earlier filled the application form can use the rectification portal to make corrections.

Step 4 - Candidates can make basic changes in their application form.

What next after the GATE 2022 application form correction?

The admit card of GATE 2022 will be released on January 3, 2022 for the exam which is scheduled on February 5,6, 12 and 13. This year, two new GATE 2022 papers have been added - Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. This makes the total tally of GATE 2022 subject papers to 29.
