Check NowNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Kharagpur will conclude the GATE 2022 registration process next week. Candidates who wish to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2022 and have not applied yet can fill the online GATE 2022 application form till September 24. The GATE 2022 registration link is available at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates must check the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria before submitting the application form.

This year, the authorities have added two new papers, making the total of 29 GATE 2022 papers. Candidates who wish to apply for any one or two papers have to select their preferred papers while filling out the application form. Note that a candidate appearing in one or two papers should fill only one application form.

GATE 2022 application process begins with registration, followed by filling application form, uploading documents, payment of application fee, and final submission. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and submit the application form as any incorrect detail can lead to rejection.
Steps to register for GATE 2022 examination

Visit GATE 2022 website - gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Click on the “GATE 2022 registration” link.

Fill the GATE registration form 2022 by entering the basic details like name, id, mobile number, password etc.

Upon submitting the details, OTP will be sent to the registered email id. Use the OTP to complete the GATE 2022 registration process.

Next, using the credentials, log into the GATE 2022 application form portal and fill all the required details.

Uploading of all the necessary documents also has to be done.

Finally, make the payment of the GATE application form 2022 in online mode.
GATE 2022 registration - Check application fee
In order to complete the registration process, aspirants are required to pay the online required fee. The fee per subject paper is given below, however, for two papers the amount of fee is twice that for a single paper.

GATE 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. GATE 2022 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and six other Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
