The GATE cutoff marks for CS is 32.5 for general category candidates and 29.2 for OBC candidates. The GATE 2023 cutoff marks for CS is 21.6 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

The GATE 2023 exam is held for a total of 100 marks. As per the IIT GATE marking scheme, 25 questions will be of one mark and the remaining 30 questions of two marks. There will be a compulsory section of general aptitude in GATE 2023 question papers for AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, ST, and XL. The remaining 85 percent weightage will be given to the selected subject.

The GATE result 2023 is hosted on the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in. GATE aspirants can check their result using enrollment number and password.

The IIT Kanpur has conducted the GATE 2023 examination online as computer based test (CBT) on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023.

As per the IIT Kanpur release, about 18 percent candidates have qualified the GATE 2023 exam. The scorecards for GATE 2023 will be made available by March 22.

GATE 2023 marks normalisation formula

The GATE scorecard will be released on March 21, 2023. The scorecard will be valid for three years.

Out of the 29 papers, 12 papers registered more than 20 per cent qualified candidates. Among those, the Metallurgical Engineering paper records about 25 per cent qualified candidates making it the highest qualified percentage for GATE this year.

From the 5.17 lakh that appeared, around 1 lakh candidates have qualified the GATE 2023 examination, making it about 18 per cent as GATE 2023 qualified. 

About 6.70 lakh candidates registered for GATE this time for 29 papers, in total. Out of these, 5.17 lakh candidates appeared for the examination in more than 500 centres across the country with an overall attendance of about 77 per cent.

The GATE 2023 result scorecard will be made available by March 22, IIT Kanpur statement said.

While some candidates have found ‘502 error’ in GATE 2023 result login window, several others have found ‘server issues’.

According to the GATE result shared by the students, the GATE 2023 cutoff marks for physics subject for general category candidates is 31.1 marks, for OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates is 27.9 marks and for SC, ST and PwD candidates is 20.7 marks.

GATE application portal is showing 504 error to various aspirants. According to IIT Kanpur official, GATE 2023 result has been already declared.
