In new JEE Main final answer key 2025, NTA revises 2 answers claimed by aspirants, 2 questions remain dropped

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised two answers out of those claimed by aspirants in the newly published JEE Main final answer key 2025. Two physics questions remain dropped as earlier. The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) 2025 final answer key for session 2 paper 1 (BE, BTech) is available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the final answer key of JEE Main 2025 April session, available in a pdf format, without having to log in. JEE Main result 2025 will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main 2025 final answer key only. NTA earlier confirmed the JEE Main 2025 session 2 result date and time.

For question ID 347577574 in physics, NTA had published 125 as the answer while the candidates claimed 5. Now, the answer key has been changed to 5 only. Similarly, for the question ID 603421799, the answer key has been revised to 0 as claimed by the Coaching Federation of India (CFI). Question ID 347577562 remains dropped while the answers for question IDs 347577222 and 603421925 remain the same as earlier.

Earlier on April 17, the testing agency released the JEE Mains final answer key 2025 and dropped two physics questions. However, the answer key was later withdrawn.

Several engineering aspirants as well as coaching experts flagged errors in the JEE Main 2025 answer key. According to the students, nine questions including five from physics, and two each from chemistry and mathematics were erroneous.

Many candidates also complained that their JEE Main response sheet 2025 displayed wrong answers and was blank for some. Even parents took to social media to raise the issue and urged NTA to make corrections.

Responding to the controversy over discrepancies in the JEE Main 2025 session 2 answer key, NTA had clarified that it is provisional and the JEE Mains result 2025 will be declared on the basis of the final answer key only.
