GATE 2024: Alert against scams, phishing emails; result on March 16

Check NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will announce the results for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) on March 16. Ahead of result announcement, candidates have been asked by GATE on 'X' to beware of scam and phishing emails about GATE 2024.

The GATE official handle has also mentioned the list of websites with phishing emails about GATE 2024. These websites are-

"Beware of scam and phishing emails about GATE coming from these emails", GATE on 'X' said. The GATE 2024 exam was conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 for 30 papers. As per the reports, over 6 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
Apart from this, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has announced that candidates will have another chance to rectify the GATE 2024 application forms identified to be defective. The facility to rectify defective applications will be available at the GOAPS portal, goaps.iisc.ac.in.

“GOAPS portal (https://goaps.iisc.ac.in) is accepting defect rectifications from candidates who were allowed to appear for GATE 2024 provisionally. This is the last opportunity for such candidates to rectify defects & obtain their Score Card subject to qualification in GATE 2024,” the institute said on ‘X’.
As per the schedule, GATE 2024 result will be declared on March 16, and the scorecards will be made available on March 23. Candidates will have to key in their login credentials such as such as registration number and date of birth to check their GATE 2024 results and scorecards.
Meanwhile, IISc Bangalore is inviting applications for the Master of Technology (MTech) programme in Robotics and Autonomous Systems. Candidates can apply for IISc Bangalore MTech programmes in Robotics through the official website, admissions.iisc.ac.in till March 22, 2024.
