NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bengaluru) has opened the answer key challenge window for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2024 today, February 21. Candidates can submit their objections against the GATE 2024 answer key by logging into GOAPS portal, goaps.iisc.ac.in.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the GATE 2024 answer key will be able to raise objections till February 25. IISc Bengaluru will issue the GATE 2024 final answer key after reviewing the objections filed by the candidates on provisional answer key.
Candidates can use their login details such as registration number and date of birth to download the GATE 2024 answer key. The GATE results 2024 will be announced on March 16 and the scorecards will be made available from March 23.
"GATE 2024: Candidates can now submit their Contests for any question/key in the paper they enrolled for, by logging into GOAPS: http://goaps.iisc.ac.in ," GATE on X said.

GATE 2024: How to calculate scores
Candidates can use the GATE 2024 answer key to calculate their probable scores in the exam.
- GATE 2024 scores are calculated out of 100 for 65 questions.
- Each correct answer in GATE paper is awarded with 1 or 2 marks.
- In MCQs, for every incorrect answer 1/3 or 2/3 marks are deducted from the total.
- While for NATs and MSQs, no marks are deducted from the total.
In case on any issues, candidates can contact the exam conducting authority on 080 2293 2644/3333 between 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. No objections will be accepted after the objection window is closed.
The GATE 2024 exam was conducted on February 3, 4 and 10, 11 at various exam centres across the country. Qualified candidates can use their scorecards while applying for admission and financial assistance for master's and jobs in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
