Check NowNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has revised the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 application date. Now, GATE 2024 registration is expected to begin by August 30, according to the update on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

“The Application Portal for GATE 2024 is expected to open by 30th August 2023,” GATE 2024 official website read.

Earlier, IISC Bangalore was supposed to commence the registration for GATE exam 2024 from today, August 24.

A candidate who is currently studying in the third or final year of any bachelor's programme or who has completed any government approved degree programme in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities is eligible to apply for GATE 2024.
Female candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD categories will have to pay Rs 900 as the GATE 2024 application fee and Rs 1,400 as late fee. The application fee for all other candidates is Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,300 with late fee.
GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 as a computer based test for admission into MTech courses and also for PSU recruitments. The exam will be conducted in two sessions - forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This year, the test will be conducted for 30 papers. IISc Bangalore has added one new paper on data science and artificial intelligence to the list of papers.
