GATE 2024: Information brochure out; Exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) information brochure today, August 26. Candidates seeking admission to various master's programmes at IITs, NITs, and IIITs can download the GATE 2024 information brochure from the official website of GATE, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

The GATE 2024 information brochure contains all the information related to the conduction of the GATE 2024 examination. The exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The GATE 2024 results will be announced on March 16, 2024, as per the latest updates.

Those candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,800 and candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates will have to pay Rs 900. According to the institute, candidates applying for two papers will have to pay twice that of a single paper.

The GATE 2024 will have a new test paper on data science and artificial intelligence (DA). As per the GATE 2024 information brochure there is no age limit to appear for GATE 2024 and the exam will be conducted at various centres in more than 200 cities, towns in India.

The GATE 2024 score card will remain valid for three years from the date of the announcement of results. Candidates with BDS, BVSc and BSc in agriculture, horticulture, forestry degrees can also appear for the GATE 2024 exam.

The candidates will be able to download their GATE 2024 score card without paying a fee from March 23 to May 31. After this date the students will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 per test paper to download their GATE 2024 score cards from June 1 to December 31.
