NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will commence the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 tomorrow, August 28. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the GATE 2025 registration form through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The last date to fill out the GATE 2025 application form without a late fee is September 26, 2024.
GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two sessions. The shift 1 exam will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second session will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories will have to pay the application fee of Rs 900 to register for the GATE 2025. For all other candidates, the registration fee is Rs 1,800.
As per the official schedule, candidates can fill out the GATE 2025 for a late fee till October 7, 2024. The GATE 2025 admit card will be issued on January 2. The institute will announce the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. Candidates can download the GATE 2025 scorecards from March 28, to May 31, 2025.

According to the official website, there are no international centres for GATE 2025 examination. Candidates can check the zone-wise exam cities from the table given below.
