Check NowNEW DELHI: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has once again extended its registration deadline with late fee till October 11, 11:59 pm. Interested candidates who have not yet applied will be able to fill the GATE 2025 application form through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The dates have been extended due to several requests from the applicants, GATE 2025 official website added.

Earlier, the GATE 2025 registration process was scheduled to end on October 7. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 at various test centres across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts on all days.
"Due to several requests from applicants, closing date of extended online registration/ application process (With Late Fee) is further extended upto 11:59 PM, 11th October 2024 (Friday)", GATE official website read.
During the extended application window for GATE 2025 , the fee is Rs 1,400 for female candidates and those in the SC, ST, and PwD categories, while it is Rs 2,300 for all other applicants.
GATE 2025: Who all can apply?

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts. Candidates in the third year of their undergraduate program are also eligible to apply.

Qualifying Degrees :
- Bachelor's degree : BE, BTech, BPharm, BArch, BSc (Research), BS, BDes.
- Master's degree : MSc/MCA/MA/MCom. or equivalent.
- Integrated programs : Candidates pursuing integrated Master’s degrees or dual degrees in Engineering/Technology (5-year program) can apply in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year.

International Students : Candidates from countries outside India who have completed or are in their final year of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

No Age Limit : There is no upper age limit to appear for GATE 2025.

Re-attempts : Candidates can appear for GATE multiple times as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
