The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026 (GATE 2026) admit cards for MTech, MS aspirants will be issued soon by the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati). The engineering institute has postponed the release of the exam hall ticket and it is expected to announce the new release date shortly.

Candidates will be able to download their GATE 2026 exam hall ticket through the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The login details to access the admit cards include enrolment ID and password.

The IIT Guwahati will conduct the GATE 2026 entrance test for MTech, MS and PhD admissions on February 7,8,14 and 15 in two shifts. The forenoon shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, whereas the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The GATE 2026 admit card holds key information such as candidate’s name, enrollment ID, exam centre address, exam date and time, exam paper code, category, among other details.

As per the official schedule, GATE 2026 results will be declared tentatively on March 19. The GATE 2026 scores will be valid for three years from the date of announcement.

What is the rank for 70 marks in GATE?

GATE Admit Card 2026: Financial assistance

Candidates qualifying GATE are eligible for financial assistance for Master’s and Doctoral programmes at government-supported institutions. MTech students receive Rs 12,400 per month for a period of 22 months. For PhD programmes, candidates admitted directly after BTech, BE, or MSc with a valid GATE score receive Rs 37,000 per month for the first two years and Rs 42,000 per month from the third to fifth year, as per government norms.
