GATE 2026 exam schedule out; MTech, PhD entrance exams from February 7 in dual shifts

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has announced the schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The entrance test will be conducted from February 7 to 15 in two shifts.

The computer-based GATE 2026 will be conducted in dual shifts. The forenoon shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Registered candidates can check the GATE 2026 exam schedule from the IIT Guwahati’s official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The results will be announced on March 19.

GATE 2026 will be held for admission to master’s programmes and PhD in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, or humanities; and doctoral programmes of engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts or humanities, in the institutions and other government agencies.

The GATE 2026 entrance test will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14 and 15 in dual shifts.
