JELET 2025 final answer key out on wbjeeb.nic.in; four questions withdrawn after review

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has issued the final answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2025 after completing the scrutiny of objections submitted by candidates. Candidates can download the JELET final answer key 2025 through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

As part of the verification process, subject experts review all objections submitted by candidates. Four questions are withdrawn from the JELET 2025 final answer key following the review and are excluded from evaluation.

WBJEEB confirmed that scoring and ranking will be carried out on the basis of the finalised JELET answer key. Marks will be calculated only from the remaining valid questions, as per the marking scheme notified in the information bulletin.

Candidates will be able to download their JELET 2025 rank cards once the results are announced. The JELET exam is conducted to offer admissions to lateral entry engineering programmes in participating colleges and institutions across West Bengal.

JELET Answer Key 2025: Marking Scheme

JELET 2025 marking scheme for questions with only one correct option awards 1 mark for each correct response, while an incorrect response attracts a penalty of ¼ mark (25% negative marking). If a candidate selects more than one option, even if it includes the correct one, the answer is treated as incorrect and receives a negative ¼ mark. Questions left unattempted are awarded zero marks.

For questions with one or more correct options, full marks of 2 are given only when all correct options are selected. Any combination that includes an incorrect option is considered wrong and yields zero marks, even if some correct options are chosen.

For partially correct answers, where all correct options are not marked but no incorrect options are selected, marks are calculated as 2 × (number of correct options marked) ÷ (total number of correct options). Questions not attempted receive zero marks.
