NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will declare the GATE COAP 2022 seat allotment result for round 1 today. Candidates will have to login to Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) official website- coap.iitb.ac.in to check GATE COAP seat allotment 2022.

Candidates will have the option to either accept and freeze, retain and wait or reject and wait for the seat. Note that candidates will have to select one of the available option before May 22 for round 1. GATE COAP 2022 Seat Allotment: Steps to check result
Candidates can check the below steps to check seat allotment result of GATE COAP 2022:

Visit the GATE COAP 2022 official portal- coap.iitb.ac.in

Login using the valid ID and password.

Click on the “Seat Allotment” button.

The institute-wise allotment of seats will be reflected on the screen.

Select options from “Accept and Freeze”, “Retain and Wait”, “Reject and Wait” and “Reject”.

Candidates can select only one offer out of the available ones.
GATE COAP Seat Allotment 2022: Options available for candidates
After the GATE seat allotment result declaration, the candidates who have successfully completed the GATE COAP 2022 registration will have the following options:
Option 1- Accept and Freeze: This option shall be selected if a candidate is satisfied with the available offer and does not wish to upgrade for higher preference.
Option 2- Retain and Wait: This option shall be selected if a candidate is satisfied with the available offer but wishes to upgrade for higher preference, if available.
Option 3- Reject and Wait: This option shall be selected if the candidate does not wish to accept any of the available offers in the current round. the candidate will be considered for other higher preferences, if any.
