GATE COAP 2025 schedule revised for MTech admissions, PSU jobs; round 1 from May 14

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) has revised the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP 2025) registration dates for MTech admission in IITs, NITs, and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) scores.
The GATE COAP 2025 round 1 registration, which was scheduled to commence from May 13, has been deferred by a day. Only those candidates who have qualified in GATE 2025, 2024, 2023 will be eligible to apply for the COAP MTech admission and PSU jobs.
IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bhilai, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT BHU, IIT Dharwad are among participating institutions that offer admission based on GATE rank.
In GATE COAP round 1 to 4, candidates will be permitted to choose “accept and freeze”, “retain and Wait”, or “reject”. However, a candidate will not be allowed to opt for “retain and wait” more than twice for the same offer. The COAP registration 2025 link will be hosted on the official website, gate.iisc.ac.in/coap2025/.
“Rounds 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are treated as independent Decisive Rounds, where candidates only have “Accept and Freeze” or “Reject” options,” it said. An additional round 10 will be held for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) choosing to continue the counselling process beyond the ninth round.

The GATE results 2025 were declared by IIT Roorkee on March 19. However, the final answer key has not been uploaded yet. The revised GATE COAP schedule is given below. Candidates who are allotted seat in the GATE COAP counselling will be able to take a decision on the offer between 10 am to 6 pm on the scheduled date.
