NEW DELHI : Will Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) cut-off 2025 for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates drop for computer science and information technology and electronics and communication engineering? Previous years’ trends suggest that the minimum GATE scores required for CS and ECE papers might not be high. GATE qualifying marks 2025 will be announced along with the GATE 2025 results.
GATE OBC cut-off for CS paper has shown an up-and-down trend over the last few years. The minimum GATE scores for the OBC students were 24.8 in case of computer science. As per the expected GATE cut-off 2025 , the qualifying marks will remain the same this year too.
On the other hand, the GATE cut-off marks have increased for papers including statistics, physics, civil engineering over years.
GATE 2025 cut-off will be determined on the basis of difficulty-level of exam, number of candidates, and previous years’ trends. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee held GATE exam 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 for admission to MTech programmes.
