Check NowNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has declared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can view and download the GATE 2024 result through the official website, goaps.iisc.ac.in. Students will have to use their enrollment number and password to download the results.

GATE 2024 scorecard will mention details such as candidate’s name, scores, and rank secured in the examination. GATE 2024 scorecard will be made available on the website from March 23 to 31.
The GATE answer key 2024 was released on February 21. Students were allowed to raise objections against the GATE answer key till February 25. IISc Bangalore conducted GATE 2024 on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The exam was held in two sessions each day - forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The question paper comprised of 65 questions.
How to download the GATE 2024 result?
- Go to the official website -- goaps.iisc.ac.in
- Enter GATE 2024 enrollment id or email id and password
- Click on the login button
- Now, click on the ‘View Result’ tab
- The GATE 2024 result PDF will be displayed
- Download the GATE result 2024 and take a print out
As per GATE 2024 exam analysis, students found the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) paper moderate to tough in difficulty while the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) paper was found to be tougher as compared to last year. The difficulty level of the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper was easy to moderate, however, it was lengthy.
This year, IISc Bangalore introduced a new paper on data science and artificial intelligence taking the total number of GATE papers to 30. Till last year, the exam used to be held for 29 papers only.
With the help of GATE scores, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other participating institutions will offer admission into engineering postgraduate or MTech programmes.
