NEW DELHI: Global Media Education Council is set to conclude the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) 2024 registration tomorrow on December 2, 2023. Interested students who have not yet registered for the GMCET 2024 can apply on the official website, gmcet.org. The GMCET 2024 exam will be held in online mode on December 3. Candidates can take the test from home.

According to the eligibility criteria, the candidates must have passed class 12 or any equivalent education with at least 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward classes (OBC). Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 exam in the year 2024 can also apply.

A candidate having a three or four-year diploma, from an AICTE-approved university with a minimum of 50% marks may also apply.

GMCET 2024: Exam pattern

The duration of the entrance test is one hour. The exam will comprise 100 multiple choice questions. The exam carries 100 marks in total. The GMCET examines the applicant's fundamental knowledge in these four areas, with 25 questions in each section: English language and intelligence; general knowledge of news and current affairs; entertainment media knowledge; and (d) brands and brand communication basic knowledge.

  • Fill the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, contact information.

  • Upload required documents and pay the fees.

  • Download and take a printout of the confirmation page.
