Goa Institute of Management Placement 2022: Highest salary at Rs 55 lakh

NEW DELHI: Goa Institute of Management (GIM) is conducting placements 2022 for students of Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. The highest salary package bagged by a PGDM student is Rs 55 lakh per annum. The average CTC for the PGDM programme in the ongoing placement process currently stands at Rs 14.66 LPA.

The highest and average CTC earned by the students in Big Data Analytics (BDA) Programme is Rs 40.2 LPA and Rs 17.2 LPA, respectively. Similarly, Rs 29 lakh salary package was bagged by a student in the Healthcare Management (HCM) programme with an average CTC standing at Rs 16 lakh. Moreover, the hiighest CTC for Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services (BIFS) Programme is Rs 27 lakh and average CTC is Rs 14.2 LPA.

Harshita Banthia has bagged Rs 55 lakh salary package with Microsoft. She has worked with an international bank as a software development engineer in Pune before joining GIM.

“She completed her engineering in computer science from a college in Chhattisgarh, where she lives with her family. In order to hone her management skills, she moved out of her job and prepared for MBA Entrance exams online. She scored amazingly well in her CAT exams, and applied to multiple institutes,” read an official statement from GIM.

GIM director said, “GIM has been invariably at the forefront of industry excellence when it comes to their students' well-being and education. According to the National Curriculum Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2022, GIM secured the 36th rank in the management category. In the year 2020-21, out of 424 students who graduated from the institute, 407 students were placed. The median salary of placed students stood at Rs 10 lakh.
