GUJCET 2019 to be conducted on March 30; application to be online

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 6: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the date for GUJCET 2019 as March 30. The exam will be conducted in offline mode in three languages – Gujarati, English and Hindi.

GUJCET 2019 will be held for admission to B.E./ B.Tech programmes as offered by the state institutes. To be able to appear in the exam, candidates will have to fill the online application form of GUJCET 2019 which will release in the third week of March tentatively.

Candidates must fill GUJCET 2019 application form only after they check the complete eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2019 as officially prescribed.

The steps to fill GUJCET application form 2019 has been given below for candidates' reference.

Step 1 - Collecting User Id and Application Fee Payment

Candidates will be first required to pay the application fee of Rs 300 via Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar” from any nationalized bank payable at Gandhinagar. This DD will have to be deposited at any of the 42 officially listed centres along with the details required. It is important that candidates note down all the details of this DD with them for future use. Upon submission of DD, candidates will get a User Id and PIN required to fill the application form of GUJCET 2019.

Step 2 - Registration and Filling of Details

As soon as the candidates will receive their User Id and PIN, they will have to register and fill their academic, personal and communication details in the application form.

Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images

Candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their recent passport size photograph and signature with a file size of 5 to 50 KB, dimensions of 120 x 120 pixels in jpg/ jpeg format.

Step 4 - Submission of GUJCET Application Form 2019

After filling all the details and uploading of images, candidates are advised to review their application form and rectify the mistakes, if any. If satisfied, candidates should submit the application form, after which they will recieve an application number. They must also take a print out of their filled application form.

The exam will be conducted for 120 minutes for Physics & Chemistry and for 60 minutes for Mathematics. The 120 questions to be asked in GUJCET 2019 will be objective in nature. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
