Try NowNEW DELHI: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board will begin the Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2025 (GUJCET 2025) from tomorrow, March 23. The board released the GUJCET 2025 admit card on March 11 on its official website at gujcet.gseb.org.
The Gujarat Board will conduct the GUJCET 2025 in an offline mode. Candidates can still download the GUJCET 2025 admit card by using their application number and date of birth, through the official portal.
The GUJCET 2025 exam is held once a year in three languages: english, hindi and gujarati. The duration of the GUJCET 2025 will be of three hours.
The state level entrance test is conducted for admission to professional degree courses such as Bachelor of Engineering (BE), (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm). Around 161 colleges participate in the GUJCET.
GUJCET 2025: Exam pattern
The question paper of the GUJCET 2025 will comprise queries from physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology subjects. It will be a multiple choice question (MCQs) type question paper. There will be a total of 120 questions, including 40 problems from each subject. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks and one score will be awarded for each correct response.
GUJCET 2025: Marks versus percentile
The marks versus percentile for the GUJCET 2025 will include boards such as GSEB, CBSE, ICSE, and NIOS. Around 40% weightage in the admission process for the undergraduate (UG) engineering courses will be used by GUJCET score and 60% will be given to Class 12 marks.
