Try NowNEW DELHI: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will close the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2024) counselling registration tomorrow, May 28 for engineering. Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses will have to submit the GUJCET counselling registration form 2024 through the official website, gujcet.gseb.org.
Through the GUJCET counselling 2024, admission to 95% of seats of government and grant-in-aid institutions, 50% of seats of unaided institutions will be based on Gujarat HSC and GUJCET results. Admission to 5% of seats in the participating colleges will be based on the JEE Main 2024.
According to last year’s GUJCET counselling process, 112 institutes offered 68,343 undergraduate engineering seats. The board will conduct multiple rounds of counselling in the order of merit.
Seat allocation will be announced based on the GUJCET cut-off 2024, which will be determined on the basis on number of registration, number of candidates’ appeared, seat matrix, difficulty level of exam, and cut-off trends of past years.
GUJCET Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of the following documents while filling the GUJCET counselling form.
- Class 12 HSC (10+2) mark sheet.
- Income certificate for tuition fee waiver.
- Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes certificate.
- Certificate of Socially and Educationally Class (SEBC).
- Certificate of economically weaker section (EWS).
- Certificate of in-serviceman candidate.
- Ex-serviceman candidate.
- Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate.
The state board is also expected to announce the GUJCET counselling schedule 2024 and merit list release date soon on the official website, gujcet.gseb.org.
