NEW DELHI: Harivansh Chaturvedi, director general of the Indian Institute of Leadership Management (IILM), has been conferred with the AIMS Ravi J Matthai National Fellowship Award.
The AIMS Ravi J Matthai National Fellowship Award was conferred at the 35th national convention of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The AIMS award recognises his contributions to management education and research in India.

The award is named after Ravi J Matthai, former director of IIM Ahmedabad and co-founder of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand. Instituted by AIMS, this honor is given to individuals who have impacted the field of management education over the years.
Chaturvedi’s contributions to management education
As per the official statement, Chaturvedi has played a significant role in shaping management education and research in India. His career spans over 45 years, during which he has held positions including – the director of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); the director of Birla Institute of Management Technology ( BIMTECH ); and the director general of the Indian Institute of Leadership Management (IILM), New Delhi.
AIMS annual management convention
The 35th AIMS Annual Management Convention is a platform that brings together management experts, academicians, and industry leaders to discuss the evolving landscape of management education. As per the AIMS official statement, the convention facilitates knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration within the sector.
Chaturvedi joins the list of notable past recipients of the award, including Ishwar Dayal, Ramaswami P Aiyar, Fr E Abraham, and Dr Pritam Singh.
