Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar to interact with AICTE Pragati, Saksham scholarship recipients

NEW DELHI: The chief minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal will be interacting with the students selected under AICTE's (All India Council for Technical Education) Pragati scholarship scheme for girl students and AICTE Saksham scholarship scheme for divyang (specially-abled) students from the state of Haryana. Khattar will be interacting online with the students on October 6 from 7.30 p.m. onwards. The students can register by October 5 to attend the online interaction, tweeted AICTE.

“The Pragati scheme formulated by AICTE is one of the much-appreciated initiatives in recent years aimed at providing assistance for the advancement of girls’ participation in technical education,” informed a press release from All India Council for Technical Education.

Under the Pragati scheme, a total of 280 girls have received the scholarship in the state, and under Saksham scheme, 19 students have benefited from the scholarship. The beneficiaries of Pragati scheme are pursuing degree / diploma courses in 52 AICTE approved technical institutes, and students under Saksham institutes are pursuing their degree/dipolma courses from 8 AICTE approved institutes.

The AICTE Saksham Scholarship is a government initiative implemented by the AICTE. The scholarship aims to encourage and enable Divyang students to participate in technical education courses.
The students can register by October 5 to attend the online interaction, tweeted AICTE.
