HITSEEE 2026: Hindustan University opens applications for engineering, MBA, launches new AI, global programmes

Students who secure top ranks in HITSEEE and HITSCAT will get 100% tuition fee waiver, and Class 12 toppers will be eligible for KCG Verghese memorial scholarship.

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) has opened admissions for the academic year 2026–27 and announced a series of new programmes in GenAI, Cloud Security, Healthcare Management, and Liberal Studies. Candidates can apply for the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE 2026) by April 22.

Applications for the HITSEEE 2026 are available for both Indian and international applicants. Candidates can fill the registration form online at hindustanuniv.ac.in.

To apply for engineering programmes, the applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

HITSEEE, a national-level entrance exam for admission to engineering, technology, architecture, and design programmes, will be conducted in hybrid mode. The test will evaluate candidates in mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, and general awareness.

HITSCAT 2026: Admission schedule

HITS has also released the schedule for the HITS Common Aptitude Test (HITSCAT) 2026, which will be used for admissions to its non-engineering courses.

As per the schedule, applications for HITSCAT 2026 will be made available on December 10, and the exam will be held on May 25 and 26. Qualified candidates will be allotted seats based on merit through the counselling process, which will be conducted from June 1 to 5.

Classes for all programmes will begin in July 2026.

Hindustan university launches new AI and global programmes

For the 2026–27 academic cycle, HITS has introduced several interdisciplinary and industry-focused programmes, including BTech CSE specialisations in GenAI and cloud security in collaboration with Google, undergraduate courses in economics and finance, political science and international relations, catering and visual arts, an executive MBA and a master's degree in healthcare management.

HITS Admission 2026: Scholarship

The HITS offers a 100% scholarship to students who top in HITSEEE and HITSCAT. In addition, the college also offers the KCG Varghese Memorial Scholarship to students who top in Class 12.
