HP DElEd, TET 2024 date sheet out at hpbose.org; registration begins on April 20

NEW DELHI : Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the schedule of the HP DElEd CET and HP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for 2024. The entrance examination for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) CET will start on June 8.

The TET examination is conducted twice a year. The first HP TET exams will be held from June 22 to July 2, 2024, and the second HP TET exams will be conducted between November 15 and 26, 2024.

Candidates will be able to apply online for the DElEd CET exam from April 20, 2024. The registration for HP TET exam will be held from May 4, 2024, and for the HP TET second from September 27, 2024.

The board conducts the DElEd entrance examination once a year and the teacher eligibility examination twice. The schedule of the examination has been released so that the examination dates set by other departmental recruitment and entrance examinations at the state level do not conflict with the examinations conducted by the board.

DElEd 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility requirements for DElEd courses is given below:

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old while applying for Himachal Pradesh DElEd. The upper age limit is 32 years old.

• A minimum of 50% is required in the Class 12 board examination. Class 12 appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
