HTET registration 2025 closes today; apply on bseh.org.in

The Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) will close the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 registration today, January 4. BSEH has also given a two-day correction window on January 4 and 5 to update details such as thumb impression, photo, signature, level, subject selection (Level 2 and 3), category, disability status, and home state in the HTET 2025 application form.

Candidates can apply for HTET registration 2025 on the official website, bseh.org.in. BSEH will conduct the HTET 2025 exam in pen-and-paper mode on January 17 and 18, 2026.

The HTET 2025 application fee varies depending on the candidate’s category and the number of levels applied. SC and PH candidates belonging to Haryana are required to pay Rs 500 for one level, Rs 900 for two levels, and Rs 1,200 for three levels.

All other Haryana domicile candidates must pay Rs 1,000 for one level, Rs 1,800 for two levels, and Rs 2,400 for three levels. Candidates belonging to non-Haryana domicile candidates, including SC and PH, are required to pay Rs 1,000, Rs 1,800, and Rs 2,400 for 1, 2, and 3 levels, respectively.

BSEH has recently clarified that the Aadhaar card is not mandatory for applying to HTET 2025. Candidates must make sure they fulfill the eligibility requirements of the level they are applying for before submitting their HTET application 2025.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2025

There’s no prescribed age limit to appear for the HTET 2025 exam. The academic qualifications for HTET 2025 are given below.

  • Primary teacher (Level 1 - Class 1 to 5): Qualified 10+2 with a diploma in elementary education (DEIEd)
  • Trained graduate teacher (Level 2 - Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s degree with BEd
  • Post graduate teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8): Master’s degree with BEd

HTET is held across three levels. Level 1 is for Primary Teacher eligibility (Classes 1 to 5), Level 2 is for Trained Graduate Teacher eligibility (Classes 6 to 8), and Level 3 is for Post Graduate Teacher eligibility (Classes 9 to 12).
