IBPS Clerk 2018 application process begins on September 18; apply online till October 10

New Delhi, September 18: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS Clerk 2018 application form in online mode on September 18. Eligible candidates can fill the application form along with the payment of fees till October 10. The application process is entirely online and banking aspirants aiming to appear in IBPS Clerk are required to register for the exam first before filling the application form.
To apply online for IBPS Clerk 2018, candidates must be between 20 to 28 years and should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. It is important that the candidates have an active email ID, mobile number, scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression and hand written declaration as per the specifications before filling the application form.
The IBPS Clerk application form 2018 comprises six steps -registration, uploading photograph and signature, filling the application form, uploading of images, preview, payment of application fees and printout of application and e-receipt. Candidates must ensure that all the filled in details are correct as any modification will not be accepted after the final submission of the application form.
The application form of IBPS Clerk 2018 would be considered incomplete without payment of the fees. Thus, candidates are advised to complete the application procedure by paying the requisite fee.
General category candidates have to pay Rs 600, whereas SC/ST/PWD category candidates have to pay Rs. 100 as application fee. Candidates can pay the fee through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets. After successful payment, candidates must take a printout of the e-receipt and keep it safely for future use.
IBPS Clerk 2018 will be conducted in two stages – prelims and mains. The admit card of IBPS Clerk for prelims and mains exam will be released in November 2018 and January 2019 respectively. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on December 8, 9, 15 and 16 in online mode, while the mains exam of IBPS Clerk 2018 will be conducted on January 20, 2019. Through IBPS Clerk 2018 exam, around 7275 vacancies will be filled for the post of clerical cadres in 19 participating banks.
