NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has extended the online registration period for the IBPS Clerk 2024 exam. Eligible candidates can now fill out the IBPS Clerk 2024 application form by July 28. The IBPS clerk 2024 prelims exam will be conducted on August 24, 25, and 31.
As per the official notice, the total number of vacancies for Clerical Cadre Posts is 6,128. Candidates who have not filled out the IBPS Clerk 2024 application form can do so by visiting the official website, ibps.in.
“All other terms and conditions as mentioned in the detailed notification dated July 1, 2024 remain unchanged. Corrigendum, if any, on this notification will be issued only on the authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in,” the official notice read.
Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), ex-servicemen (ESM), and dependent of ex-servicemen (DESM) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 175, while all other candidates will be required to pay Rs 850. The last date to make payment is July 28.
To be eligible for clerk recruitment, candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 28 years old as of July 1, 2024. This means a candidate must have been born no earlier than July 2, 1996, and no later than July 1, 2004.

IBPS Clerk 2024: Documents required
Candidates need to submit their passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration when submitting the IBPS Clerk Application Form. The dimensions and size of the files are specified below.
