IBPS PO, SO 2024 registration deadline today; participating banks, cut off

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IPBS) will close the registration window for the Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment today, August 28. Eligible candidates should fill out the IBPS PO, SO application form 2024 through the official website at ibps.in.

The IBPS PO preliminary exam is set for October 19 and October 20, 2024. The IBPS PO mains exam will be conducted on November 30, 2024. The IBPS SO preliminary exam is scheduled to begin on November 9, 2024, while the IBPS SO mains exam will take place on December 14, 2024.

The IBPS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,455 vacancies for PO posts and 896 vacancies for SO posts including agriculture field officer, marketing officer (scale I), HR/personnel officer (scale I), IT officer (scale I), law officer (scale I), and Rajbhasha Adhikari (scale I).

Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and Dependents of Ex-Servicemen (DESM) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 175. All other candidates will need to pay Rs 850 to register for the exam.

IBPS 2024: Participating banks

This year's IBPS recruitment drive includes participation from 11 banks. The banks includes Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India.
