IBPS PO, SO application correction window opens at ibps.in; editable fields

The last date to make corrections in the IBPS PO, SO application form 2025 is tomorrow. The IBPS PO prelims will be held on August 17, 23 and 24, while the SO prelims exam will be conducted on August 30, 2025.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened the application correction window for the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (CRP PO/MT XV) and for Specialist Officers (CRP SPL XV) recruitment exam 2025, today. Candidates can edit their application forms through the official website, ibps.in.

The last date to make corrections in the IBPS PO, SO application form 2025 is tomorrow, August 1. Applicants will be permitted to make changes in the submitted application form only once during the two-day edit window.
“A candidate will be allowed to correct and re-submit the modified/ corrected application only once during the ‘Edit Window to Modify/ Correct Application Form’ i.e. no updation will be allowed in case a candidate makes a mistake in the updated application,” the official notice said.
To edit the IBPS PO, SO application form, candidates will have to pay a process fee of Rs 200. However, no fee will be levied for updates related to DigiLocker data. The notice further states that the correction fee, once paid, will neither be refunded under any circumstances nor adjusted against any other examination.

IBPS PO, SO Form Correction 2025: Editable fields
During the IBPS PO, SO form correction process, details entered in the original application for 'Name', 'Email ID', and 'Mobile Number' cannot be edited.
Corrections in category details will be permitted within a restricted set of combinations. Candidates who had selected General (GEN), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC–NCL) can modify their category to General, EWS, OBC–NCL, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). However, those who originally chose SC, ST, or PwBD can make changes only within the same respective categories.
The IBPS PO preliminary exam will be conducted on August 17, 23 and 24, 2025, while the mains exam is scheduled for October 12, 2025. For IBPS SO, the preliminary exam will be held on August 30, 2025, and the mains exam will take place on November 9, 2025.
