IBPS RRB PO officer scale-1 mains 2023 begins today; exam guidelines

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS RRB officers scale-1 mains exam 2023 today. Candidates appearing for the IBPS RRB PO exam will have to carry their hall ticket to the examination centre.

IBPS RRB PO mains 2023 exam will be held for two hours. The exam will begin at 8.30 am till 10.30 am. Biometric attendance and aadhaar verification will be done during the IBPS Main exam 2023.

Candidates will have to carry the IBPS RRB admit card to the exam hall along with a valid government ID like Aadhar card, PAN card, driving licence, etc, The IBPS in an official statement said that ration cards and driving licence will not be considered as valid ID proof.

The IBPS RRB PO question paper can be attempted in either English or Hindi. According to IBPS, the marks obtained in the IBPS PO mains exams will only be considered for interview and final merit listing. Successful candidates will be called for interview round. The authority will publish the IBPS RRB 2023 call letter for interview after the mains results are declared.

The IBPS RRB PO prelims exam for officer scale 1 was conducted on August 5 and 6. The board declared the IBPS RRB 2023 officer scale 1 result for the prelims exam on August 23 at ibps.in.

IBPS RRB 2023 mains admit card for officer scale -1 was issued on September 1 on the official website.

  • Candidates will have to report to the examination centre at 7.30 am.

  • A coloured photograph must be affixed in the IBPS RRB PO hall ticket.

  • Any printed or written material, calculators, doc pens, slide rules, log tables and electronic watches, bits of paper, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic gadget/ device etc are not allowed in the exam centre.

  • In case any such item is found with candidates their candidature will be cancelled and they might also be debarred from appearing in future IBPS RRB examinations. The items will also be seized by the exam conducting authorities.
