NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has begun the registration process for the post of Specialist Officer (SO) today, August 1, 2024. Eligible aspirants can fill out the IBPS SO 2024 application form by visiting the official website, ibps.in. The last date to apply for IBPS SO 2024 and to pay the application fee is August 21.
As per the schedule, the last dates to edit the IBPS SO application form 2024 and to print the form are August 21 and September 5 respectively. A total of 11 banks are participating in the IBPS SO 2024 recruitment process.
To register for the exam, candidates from candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), ex-servicemen (ESM), and dependent of ex-servicemen (DESM) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 175, while all other candidates will be required to pay Rs 850.
The IBPS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 896 vacancies for various posts, including agriculture field officer, marketing officer (scale I), HR/personnel officer (scale I), IT officer (scale I), law officer (scale I), and Rajbhasha Adhikari (scale I). Candidates can check the post-wise educational qualification through the official notification.

As per the age limit criteria, candidates must be between 20 and 30 years old as of August 1, 2024. This means that candidates must have been born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2004, inclusive of both dates.
