NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Service Personnel (IBPS) will conduct the Specialist Officer (SO) mains exam today, January 29. Candidates taking the SO 2022 mains exam will have to mandatorily carry the IBPS SO admit card, prelims admit card and a valid photo id proof in original. The official website to check and download the IBPS SO 2022 mains exam admit card is ibps.in.

The exam for IBPS SO is held in three stages - prelims, mains and interview. The preliminary exam of IBPS SO 2022 was conducted on December 24 and December 31, 2022 in online mode across various centres across the country. Candidates scoring above the IBPS SO 2022 prelims cut-off marks, will be appearing in the IBPS SO 2023 mains exam today.

The call letter of preliminary exam was not collected at the time of examination. Candidates taking IBPS SO Mains exam today will have to carry with them the authenticated or stamped preliminary exam call letter along with a authenticated or stamped copy of a valid photo ID proof and other required documents as mentioned in the IBPS Mains 2023 admit card.

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests of IBPS Mains 2022 exam. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score, IBPS in a statement said. If a question is left blank, or no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

IBPS SO 2022 Mains: Items permitted

Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue.

a. Mask (Wearing a mask is compulsory)

b. Gloves

c. Personal transparent water bottle (Candidates should bring their own water bottle)

d. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)

e. A simple pen and blue ink stamp pad.

f. Exam related documents (Call Letter of Preliminary exam along with copy of ID proof (duly authenticated/stamped). Call Letter of Main Examination and photocopy of the photo ID proof stapled with it and same ID card in original. The name on the ID card and on the Call letter should be exactly the same.

g. In case of Scribe Candidates - Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed.
