ICAI 60th campus placement ends; highest domestic package at Rs 26.70 lakh per annum

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has concluded its 60th campus placement programme, setting new records in terms of participation, placements, and salary packages. This year’s edition saw the highest-ever participation, with 240 leading companies offering placements to a record number of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs).
Over 8,000 newly qualified CAs secured placements in some of the most prestigious organizations during the last two seasons of placement.
"This year has been a landmark achievement, witnessing the highest-ever participation of 240 companies, the largest batch of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs), and record-breaking salary offers, making it the most remarkable placement season in ICAI’s history", the central council member (CCM) of ICAI Dhiraj Khandelwal tweeted on X.
Highest domestic package stood at Rs 26.70 lakhs per annum
The highlight of this year’s Campus Placement Programme was the record-breaking salary packages extended to newly qualified CAs. The average salary offer for placed candidates stood at Rs 12.49 lakhs per annum, a significant rise from previous years.
Additionally, the highest domestic salary offer reached an extraordinary Rs 26.70 lakhs per annum, extended by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).

While other professional degrees, including those from top institutions like IITs, have faced slower placement trends, ICAI’s Campus Placement Programme has record-breaking salary offers continues to break records, attracting an increasing number of prestigious companies and offering competitive salary packages.
"This exceptional success underscores the growing demand for Chartered Accountants across industries. While other professional degrees, including those from IITs, have experienced slower placement trends, ICAI’s placement programme has seen a significant surge", Khandelwal added.
CA final result 2024 at icai.nic.in
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) final examination on December 26. Candidates will be able to download the ICAI CA final results 2024 through the official website, icai.nic.in. The ICAI conducted the chartered accountants exam for group 1 from November 3, 5, 7 and group 2 from November 9, 11, and 13.
Hyderabad’s Heramb Maheshwari and Tirupati’s Rishab Ostwal jointly securing the top rank by scoring 508 marks (84.67%). Ahmedabad’s Riya Shah secured third place with 501 marks (83.5%), while Kolkata’s Kinjal Ajmera ranked fourth with 493 marks (82.17%).
