Check NowNEW DELHI : The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) has declared the CA Foundation result December 2023. Candidates who appeared for the December session exams can download the ICAI CA Foundation result from the official website, icai.nic.in. In order to download the CA Foundation result, students will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password. The result will mention the candidate's name, marks obtained, total scores, rank, and other details.
CA Foundation exam was conducted from December 31 to January 6. The exams included four papers - principles and practice of accounting; business laws; business mathematics, logical reasoning and statistics; and business economics.
As per the new exam pattern, business and commercial knowledge subject was removed from business economics and business and commercial knowledge paper while business correspondence reporting subject was removed from business laws and business correspondence reporting.
The institute also introduced negative marking for the objective papers and thus, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Students who scored a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a total aggregate of 50% marks have been declared pass, as per the CA Foundation passing marks.

- Enter your registration number and password
- Click on the submit button
- CA Foundation December 2023 result will appear on the screen
- Download and take a print out of the result for future reference
In the last session, a total of 25,860 candidates were declared pass and the overall pass percentage stood at 24.98%. The pass percentage of male candidates was 25.99% whereas 23.80% female candidates qualified the CA Foundation exam.
