ICAI CA Inter, Foundation exam dates out for January 2025 session; application fee

The ICAI CA Foundation exam will take place on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, while the CA Intermediate exams are scheduled from January 11 to 21, 2025.
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam dates for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Foundation, Intermediate January 2025 exams. As per the official notice, the registration process for the CA Intermediate, Foundation 2025 will commence on November 10.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will conduct the CA Foundation exam in January 2025 on January 12, 14, 16, and 18. The CA Intermediate exams for 2024 are scheduled to take place from January 11 to 21, with Group 1 exams on January 11, 13, and 15, 2025, and Group 2 exams on January 17, 19, and 21, 2025.
Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation examination are 2 hours long, while all other exams last for 3 hours. Foundation papers 1 and 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm, and papers 3 and 4 will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm. For the Intermediate exams, all papers are scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm.
As per the official notice, the CA Foundation 2025 exam will follow the syllabus outlined in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. Similarly, the CA Intermediate 2025 exam will adhere to the syllabus specified under Regulation 28 F of the same regulations.

As per the official schedule, the last date to submit online application forms without late fees is November 23, 2024. The deadline for submission of application form with a late fee of Rs 600 or 10 USD is November 26, 2024. Students requesting a change of examination city or medium can access the correction window from November 27 to November 29, 2024.
